Description 

Indications:

Respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection, bacterial dysentry, bacterial diarrhoea, enteric fever, acute gonococcal urethritis, chancroid, septicaemia, prophylaixis and treatment of pneumocystic carinii infectin. skin 7 Softtissue, ENT infections

Dosage & Adminstration:
Doses as directed by physician

Adverse Effects:

Skin rash, exfoliative dermatitis, toxic epidermal necrolysis are rare , nausea, glossitis, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache, hallucinations, depression. Anaemia, aplastic anaemia, crystalluria, purpura, agranulocytosis.

Contraindications:
Infants under two months of age, liver or renal failure, hypersensitivity. Megaloblastic anaemia due to folate deficiency.
